Okay so the weather is cooler and there’s a good chance you may encounter rain. Does this mean you can’t ride till next season? For some this is probable. But folks, Harley Davidson has been building their bikes water resistant for a long time and here in the Portland area it doesn’t get real cold often so why not keep your bike ready to roll all winter and enjoy those crisp fall days and yes even winter days.

Winter season riding does require some extra attention and work but enjoying the fall colors from the seat of a Harley Davidson has always been kind of a special thrill for me. I also find it amusing to see all the looks I get from the drivers who obviously think I’m crazy.

In order to really enjoy off season riding you must remember one thing above all else, there’s no such thing as bad weather just bad riding gear. There is some really great riding gear out there and if you haven’t checked out heated gear you’re really missing out. Why spend all that money on a bike just to let it sit! Get out there and be one of the “crazies” and see what you’re missing!
