The Rider’s Edge^® New Rider Course will give you the basics you need to operate your Harley-Davidson® motorcycle in style. Through a combination of classroom instruction and actual riding taught by experts certified by both the Motorcycle Safety Foundation® (MSF) and Rider's Edge® , you’ll receive top-notch instruction that will start you down a road of adventure that will last a lifetime.

Upon passing a written test and a riding skills evaluation, you will receive an official MSF RiderCourse Completion Card that – in some states – may exempt you from the written and/or riding skills portion of the motorcycle operator’s license test.

Here in Oregon we do it the old fashioned way by delivering a Buell Blast to the DMV like the one you trained on and provide you with a rider coach to assist you with the skills needed to pass your licensing test. Go to DMV and take your written test as soon as possible so you can get a ride test appointment shortly after you complete the New Rider Course. DMV ride test appointment number is 503-299-9999.
